  • Negotiate, prepare, finalize and verify all DAs on behalf of clients for the most cost-effective rates.

Ship Agency

  • Provide complete range of: marine agency services for vessels under our operation and also to third party vessels; cargo agency for all dry, bulk, general cargo and project cargoes.

  • Cargo clearances and customs formalities.
  • Stevedoring and other labour and equipment supply.
  • All husbandry services.

Liquid Bulk Shipment

  • Both time chartering and voyage chartering of vessels for liquid bulk, particularly ethanol shipments.
  • Efficient handling of operations, especially in light of the nature of the commodity, due to Copa’s extensive experience.
  • Maintain the highest safety standards.

Post Fixing Operations

  • Execution of post fixture tasks for all chartered and operated vessels.
  • Building strategic operational plans for each voyage, providing information to clients through data collection, maintaining checklists to ensure that contractual deadlines are met and targets achieved, maintaining operating budgets for time/voyage charter vessels, design and preparation of cash flow and satisfactory profit and loss ratios on a continuous basis.
  • CP editing and finalizing, vessel vetting systems, bunkering, port management, monitoring of loading/discharging, cargo and vessel surveys, claims handling, insurance handling, laytime calculations and voyage closing report.
  • Handling of loading and discharge supercargo if needed.

Container and Cargo Broking

  • Consulting on the purchase and leasing management of containers.
  • Booking of containers: dry, tanktainer and open top. Referral of containers in line with shipping market movements enabling clients to make quick commercial decisions based on realistic advice and transparent facts.
  • Booking of FCL, LCL (Full and Less than containers load) for all conventional and non-conventional cargoes, including a door-2-door option, at optimal cost and transit time.
  • Flexibility and ability to handle any size lots and shipments to and from single to multiple destinations.

  • Time chartering of vessels with DWT ranging from 1,500-70,000 DWT.
