The ship of my life may or may not be sailing on calm and amiable seas. The challenging days of my existence may or may not be bright and promising. Stormy or sunny days, glorious or lonely nights, I maintain an attitude of gratitude. If I insist on being pessimistic, there is always tomorrow. Today I am blessed.

I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.

To desire nothing beyond what you have is surely happiness. Aboard a Ship, it is frequently possible to achieve just that. That is why sailing is a way of life, one of the finest of lives.

The cabin of a small ship is truly a wonderful thing; not only will it shelter you from a tempest, but from the other troubles in life, it is a safe retreat.

The goal is not to sail the boat, but rather to help the boat sail herself.
